This month’s Better Together Breakfast at Over Easy Restaurant at 7AM April 19th, 2017.
Better Together Breakfast is a monthly networking and prayer breakfast for Christian leaders of local nonprofits. The breakfast is hosted by A Future and A Hope Foundation at Over Easy Restaurant at 7AM-8AM on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Invitation is extended to the leadership staff of non-profits and welcomes 2 people per organization. The Vision for Better Together Breakfast
Love INC 2017 Annual Vision Meeting will be held on May 18th, Thursday morning 7:30 AM- 8:30 AM at Northlake Community Church with breakfast included. We welcome church partner pastors and coordinators to come celebrate what God is doing through Love INC, meet with Love INC board and staff, review the vision and mission of Love INC and participate in brainstorming appropriate applications, services and developments.
On March 15, 2017, we are inviting all nonprofit boards and all staff to join us at The Firs Conference Center, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., for a time of united worship and prayer, followed by a lunch catered by The Firs. This is a hosted lunch sponsored by a Christian businessman who is delighted to bless you in this way. The Call from Christ is to be responsive and compassionate to our neighbor in need.
The challenge: Every day churches are seeing the same need and responding to the same need without learning what is already being done. How can local churches get informed on what compassion efforts are already being made by other churches?
The Solution: Love INC is hosting a Compassion Ministry Network to facilitate communication among local churches in the area of our compassion efforts.

On Friday evening, October 21st, 2016 at 6pm, we will be having our 6th annual Fundraiser Event to benefit Whatcom Love INC hosted at Bellingham Covenant Church. We’d love to have you join us for delicious appetizers and dessert, silent auction, paddle raise, program & entertainment.

This years theme is Offer the Corner of Your Field, inspired by Leviticus 19:9-10, which reads, “When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap your field right up to its edge, neither shall you gather the gleanings after your harvest. …You shall leave them for the poor and for the sojourner: I am the Lord your God.”

You are invited to a Ladies Afternoon Tea Presented by Love In the Name of Christ. The event is held on Saturday, April 30, from 2-4 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Bellingham. Drawing from John 17:23, the theme of this year’s program is “Perfectly One of Heart and Mind.” Please join us for the afternoon! Besides tea and coffee, there will be music, raffle door prizes, and delightful sweets and speaker. Come be inspired as you hear How God is Moving in Whatcom County by Dr. Jason Hubbard. This popular annual event has limited seating!
Cost at the door is $20 is given for the support of Love INC ministries.

With thanksgiving, the Love INC board has announced the appointment of Shannon Williamson to serve as Executive Director. Shannon comes to us most recently as a ministry team member and intern supervisor for the Light of the World Prayer Center for the past seven years. Other duties at the Prayer Center have included teaching, vision setting and communication to supporters.
In making its nomination, the Board recognized Shannon as a person with deep faith, excellent communication skills, understanding of poverty, and experience in non-profit ministry leadership. She is committed to a firm grounding in prayer and is keen to engage “hands-on” to achieve Love INC goals.
